The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce will travel to Raleigh to meet with legislators and elected officials to discuss the Valley’s most pressing issues in Raleigh on June 4.  Chamber members will meet with the local legislators and discuss issues ranging from transportation to health care with cabinet members. Lunch will be served in the building of the General Assembly. Dinner will be served at one of Raleigh’s finest restaurants.

When: June 4, Wednesday, depart the Roanoke Valley at 9:30 a.m. return 9:30 p.m.
Why you should attend:

• Advocate your business needs and issues with N.C. legislators
• Become informed on the latest issues facing business and the State of N.C.
• Network with the Business Leaders of Roanoke Valley and legislators from across N.C.

Schedule: Depart 9:30 a.m. from Chamber parking lot. Conduct legislator visits until noon. Lunch will be held at the General Assembly dining room in Raleigh. Hear presentations from leaders from the Council of State and more from 2-5 p.m. Enjoy dinner at one of Raleigh’s finest restaurants. Return home by 9:30 p.m.
