Networking grows your business!This is a wonderful chance for you to network with your business peers. A members-meeting-members program, you have the opportunity to expand your business contacts in a social setting. The Chamber and our sponsors host approximately ten Business After Hours each year. Membership Directory

The Chamber offers many opportunities to grow your business such as the Business ExpoEach Chamber member can be easily found by searching our database. We distribute our membership directory to more than 10,000 chamber members, area residents, and newcomers annually.

Referrals

We receive numerous phone calls for information on the available goods and services in the Roanoke Valley. We proudly refer these individuals to our Chamber members.

Mailings to our Membership

Celebrating business success!Chamber members can include a flyer in one of our mailings to more than 950 businessmen and women who are Chamber members. In conjunction with Halifax Community College, we proudly offer seminars, which are geared to helping your business succeed. Responsive Government

Networking works!The Chamber's active Governmental Affairs Committee consistently monitors government regulations and legislation that affects area businesses. After the board adopts an annual legislative agenda, members and staff work with local, state, and federal officials to enact legislation to benefit the Roanoke Valley.

Business-Education Partnership

The Chamber serves as a facilitator between the business and education communities. The Chamber, along with the Halifax Co. Department of Social Services, develops job opportunities for Work First participants. Help enhance the Leadership Roanoke Valley program by recruiting individuals for the next class, chairing program topics, and promoting the Leadership program.

Ducky Derby Committee
