Business Expo Planned for The Center
The Roanoke Valley Chamber of Commerce and Halifax Community College Small Business Center are in the midst of planning the 14th Annual Roanoke Valley Business Expo. This year’s Expo will be held on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3 at The Centre at Halifax Community College in Weldon. The Expo will give both the public and Chamber members the opportunity to see the many goods and services area businesses provide.
The Expo will open to Chamber members on Tuesday, May 2 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, May 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Last year, more than 80 exhibitors participated in this exciting event, which attracted over 1,500 local residents.
After walking through all the exhibits, attendees can register for our grand prize – a free trip for two to Las Vegas compliments of Carlson-Wagonlit Travel. The winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m. on May 3.
The Expo, sponsored by The Daily Herald, Halifax Community College Small Business Center and the Roanoke Valley Chamber, gives area businesses an excellent venue to showcase their goods and services and gain new customers. Participating in the Expo will let the Roanoke Valley know your business exists and is a player in the market.
Businesses participating in the Expo will receive exhibit space with a skirted table, chairs, access to electricity, a company sign and access to the Hospitality Suite. Exhibitors will receive an ad in a 12-page special supplement in The Daily Herald circulated to readers in the Roanoke Valley, as well as the program used during the Expo. The registration fee for exhibitors is $135 for Chamber members and $235 for non-members.
